Sibling Love

This photo was taken in December but I think i forgot to post it on blog.  It remains one of my favorite pics of the kids - makes me laugh pretty much every time I see it.

To be fair, this was the last photo taken in a series where Julian would not cooperate or sit still and Leana was smiling in every one.  She finally had enough and resorted to using her Big Sister authority.

Snuggler

Now that Julian has his a bed that he can get into on his own, he loves to go there to snuggle with all of his favorite things: Kitty Mio, Lambie, binky and Buddy.  Leana decided she was too big for Lambie so gave him to Julian to sleep with.

The bed is also where Julian goes when he gets mad - he takes off and goes straight to his room to mope and/or calm down when something upsets him - it's a pretty good coping strategy!

Julian has also been happy to have some sunny days to get outside and play.  I love his effort for blowing the dandelions! 

Future "Lion Doctor"

Leana told me recently that she wanted to be a Lion Doctor when she grew up.  I mentioned this to my friend Christi who will be starting Vet school this year and she sent Leana the cutest little vet kit.  Leana was very excited to take care of the little doggie that came with it and then told me she would be a lion doctor that helped cats and dogs too.
