Spring Break in CA

We had a great week in Carmel. Beaches, pools, nature walks, bead treasure finding, playgrounds and lots of sunshine!

We also checked out Leana's school for next year (my old school! ) and got Julian signed up for a coop preschool.

Tooth #2!

Leana lost her second tooth tonight! She started to dictate a note to me and then took the pen and told me she wanted to practice her writing and starting sounding out all the words. This is the most I have seen her write!

Easter Weekend

Lots of egg hunts and a special visit from Parry, Julian's classroom pet. It was a very exciting weekend!

50 feet!

Leana earned her 50th foot for running club last week. That's 50 miles of running (or walking or skipping...)!

Decatur Trip

Another beautiful weekend on Decatur.  Special this time: Leana lost her first tooth and the tooth fairy came to Decatur! Leana got a dollar and a quarter and was very excited about the whole thing. She spent her dollar on a pack of gum. Sugar free so hopefully the tooth fairy approves.
