End of year celebrations

Julian had his last day at the EEU - it was was a great 2 years for him and a great place to start his school experience. This past year he really made his own friends, mastered using the toilet,  learned his letters and what all his friends' names start with, and was known as "the funny guy" in his class.

Leana loved her first year of elementary school and made a lot of great friends in her kindergarten class. She became a much more detailed drawer, learned to write lower case letters and how to write her name in cursive, how to sound out words for reading or writing, and how to count by 5's and 10's. She had overnight camp (with jeff) and learned a lot about the life cycle of plants (her class focused on tomatoes for their expedition). She also ran more than 70 miles this year in running club!

All in all it was a great school year and it will be hard to leave these schools that we love so much.  But we know great schools await us in CA as well!
