18 Month Stats:
Weight: 21 lbs (8th %) - Finally broke the 20 pound barrier!
Height: 32 inches (60%)
Her latest tricks include:
-Climbing on anything and everything. She likes to use the arm rest of the sofa as a balance beam and walk back and forth. I am not a fan of this. She can go up and down stairs by herself, although that means I am hovering all around her along the way.
-Eating by herself. Don't even try to feed Leana with a spoon, she is way too independent for that!
-Getting "dressed" by herself. A few times she has managed to get her own pants on, and she is pretty good with getting her shoes on too (not necessarily on the right foot). This is fun to watch, but can easily lead to frustration.
We are still waiting for Leana to start talking. She is very good about communicating her needs to us, but not verbally yet. She seems interested though, and points to things all the time. The doctor said some day she will be talking so much I will wonder why I was ever impatient for her to start.
