Leana is very excited about the fact that she has moved on from 3.5 to 3.75, anything that gets her closer to turning 4!
Our little monkey has gotten pretty good at her headstands, now she can flip herself up into position and hold it there for a long time without any help from me. Julian tries to copy his big sister, but only gets as far as downward dog position. Leana also loves to play hide and seek these days, or to hide from monsters. She spent about half an hour leading our friend Katie around the house with a non stop conversation about where all the mean monsters were, where all the friendly ones were, how big they were and how big their teeth were. "Follow my tracks! Keep your eyes sharp! Did you hear a sound? Yisten carefully! I can scare them away!" Leana also loves "The Ladybug Game" a board game she got for her birthday last year that we play 2-3 times per day, even replacing bed time books with a chance to play one more time.
Leana and our 5 year old neighbor, Zia, have become very close recently. They go back and forth between our houses multiple time a day and it is the first thing Leana asks about every morning: "Can I go over to Zia's house?" Of course, they have their little fights too. It's all very cute.
Look how big she is!
