This year's ups and downs of Maui consisted of: sunrise runs on the beach almost every morning for Jeff and Lauren, Leana snorkeling for the first time, both kids seeing sea turtles up close, whale watching/snorkeling boat trip for the whole family, Julian braving the ocean more than ever and going in the deep part with mommy, annual beach day at ulua, Lauren and kids getting super sick for a couple days each, celebrating Nana's birthday with a sunset bbq, Santa making it to the condo, and lots of playtime with cousins Dutch and Desmond.
